The Global Alliance for Media Innovation (GAMI) is organising a roundtable discussion involving in-house media labs from Publishing companies, Universities and research centers.
R&D&I in the news media field is happening around the world in Universities, research institutions and even many News Publishing companies but often in an insular way.
The intersection of both media businesses and academia is always at the heart of our discussions. We believe the benefits of this cooperation is not always well understood. Our Alliance strongly believes in this untapped potential of collective thinking with third parties, especially academia.
Our objective is to invite representatives from the various stakeholders to an open discussion on how they each tackle the challenges of innovation in their respective institutions and to contribute to bridging the gap between the industry and the academic world.
