RARE

RARE is a next-generation media for the youth by the youth. The media produces social media journalism, short documentaries and events, that are based on the SDGs.

RARE has been publishing content since 2019, and it is the only journalistic media in history that publishes only on social media platforms and is part of The Council for Mass Media in Finland. The youth medias main platforms are Instagram, TikTok, and Youtube.

RARE is known as a pioneer of social media journalism and impact work in the field of Finnish journalism. RARE is the winner of the Uutisraivaaja innovation contest years 2019 & 2023, and one of the winners of the Think ink innovation contest year 2023.
