Vincent Peyrègne
CEO of WAN-IFRA
Vincent took up duties as Chief Executive Officer of the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) on 1st October 2012. Prior to joining WAN-IFRA he worked in the office of the French minister of Culture and Communication where he was responsible for newspapers and new media as well as the “états généraux de la presse écrite”, the French government’s response to the economic difficulties facing the newspaper industry. Peyregne started his career in the news industry in the early 1990s, holding various managing positions in media houses in France, Spain and Switzerland. He is a founding board member of the French-language chapter of SND (Society for News Design) and for several years has been a member of ESOMAR and INMA.
Stephen Fozard
Project Director at GAMI
Stephen is the Project Director for the Global Alliance for Media Innovation (GAMI) at the World Association of News Publishers (WAN-IFRA). GAMI is an international network of publishers, media labs, universities and R&D centers that aims to create and support a healthier ecosystem for innovation in news media by encouraging partnerships and collaborations.
Stephen joined the Association in 2008 after working for the Council of Europe in the Media and Information Society Division. Over his years at WAN-IFRA, he has worked in several areas including media development programmes, events management and legal affairs. He is a regular public speaker at international conferences in Asia, Africa, Europe and America and holds a Masters degree in Multimedia Law from the University of Strasbourg.
Levenez Molac
EU Projects Communications Coordinator
Levenez Molac is EU Projects Communications Coordinator for the Global Alliance for Media Innovation (GAMI) at the World Association of News Publishers (WAN-IFRA). Before joining the association, she worked at EARLALL, the European Association of Regional and Local Authorities for Lifelong Learning, based in Brussels. She was mainly working on European projects (Erasmus+, Interreg) in the field of education and lifelong learning. She holds a masters degree in European studies from the University of Aix Marseille.
Diana Silva Franco
Coordinator for EU Programmes and Communications
Diana Silva Franco is the Coordinator for EU Programmes and Communications at the World Association of News Publishers (WAN-IFRA), specialising in the TEMS initiative. With extensive international experience in journalism and communication, Diana has led the dissemination and awareness creation for projects involving NGOs, embassies, tech platforms, entrepreneurs, and EU agencies and initiatives in Latin America and Europe. She is dedicated to crafting messages that inspire and promote positive change. Diana holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Universidad Fermín Toro in Venezuela.
